Patternmaster chokes, Winchester Ammo, Browning rifles, Remington rifles
There is a contract available to run an ammunition plant in Missouri that is apparently being bid for by a few different companies who all want to be able to make the ammunition that is created for the army in Independence. The plant is owned currently by the United States Army and a company from Minneapolis is currently in charge of managing the facility which has strived to create ammo like that created by Winchester ammo for the past decade.
But now there is apparently a fight over who might be the new manager of the ammunition plant since a new company was recently created out of the group that managed the facility before the current manager which has recently created a solid contract with the army to manage a similar plant in Virginia. The plant over which different companies are vying for management status will be undergoing a transition period of several months and the new company is scheduled to start overseeing production of the ammunition for the next decade at a cost to the army of two billion dollars or more for the duration of the contract.
Even if the management company experiences significant changes in management, it is not expected by anyone currently working at the plant that there will be any significant personnel changes even when a different company takes charge of operations. The plant currently employs almost three thousand people from the Independence, Missouri area and surrounding towns and has for quite a number of years.
