Learning the Basics of Clay Shooting
If you have ever thought about getting into the shooting sports then clay shooting will undoubtedly be something you have come across and may even be familiar with. In essence the sport involves the use of a shotgun, which is used to aim and shoot at targets known as clays. These are traditionally clay discs that are shot from a trap across the sky. The fragile material of the clays means that they shatter easily when hit. The origins of the sport comes from live bird shooting, which simply involved releasing a number of birds from a trap and taking aim.
